PRE-RUN/PRACTICE SESSION RULES AND PROCEDURES
U.S.D.R.'s Saturday Pre-Run session is offered as a chance for our riders to scout the course and get a feel for the terrain that Sunday's race will take place on. Below are rules for an orderly and safe Pre-Run session for everyone. Failure to follow these rules will force U.S.D.R. to discontinue it's practice session format.
1, Ride at a safe and MODERATE speed at all times during the practice session.
2, DO NOT race fellow competitors while on the course.
3, stay on the marked trail at all times. DO NOT cut turns or make lines off of the marked course.
4, Please be aware of the course markings and arrows. Negociate turns carefully as to not knock down stakes or arrows.
5, Anyone seen riding overly aggressive during the practice session will be disqualified from sundays event.
USE OF FLUORESENTE YELLOW/HIGH VIS. GREEN CLOTHING IS NOT ALLOWED
Racers and spectators at U.S.D.R. events are asked NOT to wear fluoresente yellow/green gear. This color is reserved for U.S.D.R. staff, sweep and rescue personel. Dangerous and confusing situations can arise when competitors are on course with what looks like emergency personel attire. Riders wearing this color clothing will not be allowed to leave the starting line. |
